Description of Megaphone Program Objectives

Megaphone is a collaboration among state-based communications organizing groups to build an organic progressive media ecosystem to drown out the conservative echo chamber that churns out narratives and spreads disinformation through social media, damaging our democracy.

Pennsylvania’s Megaphone will empower our local partners, organizers, and everyday Pennsylvanians with the skills and opportunities they need to tell their stories through compelling online content showcasing the work of progressive protagonists on the ground in our Commonwealth who make our democracy strong and vibrant.

Comms2 seeks to build an amplification network that empowers storytellers, validators, digital organizers, and amplifiers to drown out the right-wing echo chamber threatening our democracy and win the narrative in Pennsylvania for the common good and shared goals of the progressive movement.
