Southfield – Jordan Acker, a fourth generation Michigander, former Obama Administration official, and the first millennial to ever run for the U-M Board of Regents, was endorsed Wednesday, August 15th, by presumptive Democratic nominee for Attorney General Dana Nessel.

“I’m proud to endorse Jordan Acker for U-M Regent,” said Nessel.  “Hard work matters. Like in my campaign, Jordan has traveled around the state, meeting with over 110 Democratic Club or County parties, making sure that Michiganders know the importance of the Board of Regents. As a fellow University of Michigan graduate, I know Jordan shares a passion for making our University accessible, transparent, and open to all. I look forward to continuing to travel around the state with Jordan, sharing our progressive vision and winning big in November."

I’ll work hard every day to make sure that all Michiganders have a place on one of our campuses"
